These Dream Flights are arranged to pay tribute to military veterans who fought for our country in Vietnam, Korea and during World War II and now reside in assisted living facilities. Each flight allows them to take to the open sky in a 1930-40s vintage biplane in appreciation of their service and contribution to the nation.
This past Memorial Day weekend, Stone Ward client Sport Clips Haircuts was a part of honoring our nation’s heroes during Ageless Aviation Dream Foundation’s (AADF) 1,000th dream flight. Sport Clips is AADF’s primary sponsor.
Stone Ward’s public relations department worked with CBS News to develop a story for two network newscasts around veterans participating in flights in Grand Island, Nebraska; Georgetown, TX; and Minneapolis, MN. Sport Clips’ sponsorship of Ageless Aviation also landed local and regional media placements, as well as national trade news in Modern Salon.
