With Spring and Summer just around the corner, Indy Parks approached CVR about using our creative and PR chops to generate awareness of and increase attendance at the many events hosted by the parks each year. With a simple new tagline – “Get out there” – and some earthy, nature-based illustrations, CVR redesigned the Parks’ fun guides and equipment rental brochures. We even launched Digital Independence Day, encouraging Indianapolis residents to experience more sunshine, less screen time.

And then we tackled the concert series. The Family Fun concerts are truly entertaining for all ages, with bands like Gustafer Yellowgold and The Okee Dokee Brothers. Celebrate the Greats concert series showcased cover bands like An innocent Band (A Tribute to Billy Joel) and American English (A Tribute to The Beatles). For both series, we designed posters, postcards, and social media that emphasized the outdoors while also highlighting the unique aspects of each band’s sound.

Although we don’t do this for the accolades, they don’t hurt. CVR was awarded a Gold ADDY for our work on the Family Fun concert series posters, and Silver ADDYs on the Digital Independence Day creative and the Celebrate the Greats posters.
