Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas

The Mix Matters By kdawson

The work.

Stone Ward collaborated with the ECA marketing and public affairs team to create the concept and the campaign components across ECA’s paid, earned and owned channels.

The new multi-media campaign is themed “The Mix Matters,” and includes television, print, online and outdoor advertising, all of which drive to a newly created microsite, themixmatters.com. The campaign messages are also being extended in ECA’s social media platforms and shared directly through email campaigns.

For the video and television spot, Stone Ward and 360 Filmworks used a method called kinetic typography to tell the story of the campaign. The animation of moving words and images capture the audience with bite-sized information in a way that’s easy to understand and invite to viewer to engage with every frame.

The brief.

Stone Ward was proud to launch a new campaign for its client, the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas (ECA). The campaign’s purpose is to inform “grassroot” and “grasstop” constituents that Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation (AECC), a generation and transmission cooperative, has a diverse energy portfolio that enables Arkansas’s 17 local distribution cooperatives to provide reliable and affordable power long-term to more than 500,000 members in 75 counties across Arkansas.

Collectively, AECC, the 17 distribution cooperatives and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. utilize wind, water, biomass, solar energy, natural gas and the cleanest coal technology available.

The result(s).

Stone Ward is proud to support the message of the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas and looks forward to an exciting, collaborative relationship for years to come.
