Building a bridge to Rwanda By Stone Ward

The work.

Stone Ward developed a new web presence that communicates Bridge2Rwanda’s passion for education and business, hope for Rwanda, experience with students and extensive international network. With an easy-to-navigate design, the new Bridge2Rwanda website simplifies the four phases of the B2R Scholars program—identify the best students, prepare them to compete and succeed, connect them with a lifelong network of friends and create jobs and opportunity in Rwanda—by using short videos and colorful images to illustrate each step. The new site also enables visitors to learn about host families, students and Bridge2Rwanda businesses through news stories and testimonies.

The brief.

Bridge2Rwanda, a longtime friend of Stone Ward, was formed in 2007 to help expand Rwanda’s global network of friends, to encourage foreign direct investment and to create opportunities for study abroad.

In the last few years, Bridge2Rwanda has focused its efforts on the B2R Scholars program, which connects Rwanda’s most promising students with universities, host families, churches and internships with the goal of developing Rwandan students as the future leaders of Rwanda.

Bridge2Rwanda came to Stone Ward seeking a new brand identity centered on the B2R Scholars program and a website that would be a crucial tool for sharing the program with investors, universities, churches and host families.

The result(s).

With the B2R Scholars program, Bridge2Rwanda continues to build a bridge between Rwanda and the United States and transform lives at both ends. Stone Ward is proud to be an ongoing supporter and part of the Bridge.
