Kruskopf Coontz Advertising www.kctruth.com named Dean Huff president of the agency. Huff had previously started the advertising practice at Padilla Speer Beardsley, Minneapolis, and prior to that had worked at several advertising agencies including The Martin Agency, Colle McVoy and Saatchi & Saatchi.
In his previous positions, Huff, 45, has worked with clients such as Dupont, Timberland, Honda, Nestle, Cargill, Glastron, and other global brands.
“Adding Dean to our agency is a key strategic move for us as we continue to grow,” said Sue Kruskopf, CEO and founder, Kruskopf Coontz. “His extensive experience, and integrated background in public relations, digital and advertising will definitely add value to our overall offering for clients. He’s a strong leader that will help grow our people and the agency.” Kruskopf added.
Huff’s hiring is part of a transition plan that has been in the works since the beginning of the year, as Bill Coontz planned to leave the agency.
“Bill and I have been planning this transition for some time now,” said Kruskopf. “It’s been a terrific partnership for 13 years. He wanted to do something different, and I understand and applaud that,” she added.
Kruskopf Coontz is a Minneapolis agency whose clients include 3M, United Healthcare and Cargill.
