AMIN’s Professional Development Committee, led by Doug Jeske, is recommending a Fall conference focused on emerging leaders within agencies in the network. These emerging leaders would be slated for partner/senior agency management roles within the next five to 10 years. These individuals would be expected to survive current agency leadership following their retirements or departures from the agency.
The goal of the conference would be to give these individuals exposure to information and connections that would help make them successful as an agency principal or senior manager. Potential agenda items to include:
Agency Financials – Key Ratios and Considerations
Agency Hiring Strategies
Coaching Your Team
Positioning Your Agency
Agency Retrenching: Stepping Back to Go Forward
Agency Promotional Strategies
How to Deal with Exiting Partners
What Current Agency Principals Wished They’d Known
Finding and Working with Strategic Partners
Attendance Goal is a minimum of 30 people. One to two attendees from participating agencies is expected, though agencies could send more if appropriate. AMIN EAME agencies are also invited to participate.
